Alamance Native Hopes to Reform Justice System with New Music Video
A new You Tube music video tells the story of Alamance County native Dreama Caldwell, and the video’s creators hope the video will be used to bring about changes to the criminal justice system. The video is titled “The Rise of Dreama Caldwell,” and it tells Caldwell’s struggles with the North Carolina bail system – a system she says is unfair to the poor. Caldwell works for the Greensboro-based advocacy group Down Home. She says that bail reform is needed. “The Rise of Dreama Caldwell” was created and published by recording artist Joe Troop.
