Alamance Regional Receives 4-Start Rating
Alamance Regional Medical Center recently received four out of a possible five stars from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Hospital Quality Initiative. The initiative examines 57 quality measures as a way of comparing the care offered at hospitals. With four starts, ARMC ranked above Moses Cone Memorial in Greensboro, UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, High Point Regional Hospital, and Randolph Hospital. The star system is based on such measures as timely and effective patient care, complications and deaths, emergency department care, preventative care, use of medical imaging, infections and other criteria.
