ARMC Announces $34 Million Dollar Expansion
Alamance Regional Hospital says it is expanding its size and services in the coming months. Cone Health of course recently bought part of ARMC. According to Cone Health, they are starting a 34 million dollar project that will include an additional 14 thousand square feet. That will include what they call an interventional lab, a new CT scanner with specialized cardiac capabilities and a new cardiovascular lab.
In addition to all that they say the Norville Breast Cancer Center will move out of the hospital itself and into the Grandview Building across the street. They will also add another mammography unit and and ultrasound room. Cone health spokesmen say this will take them about 2 years to complete.
