Biker Fatalities Continue to Rise In North Carolina
This is national Motorcycle Week across the country. We know a lot of folks are headed to the rally in Sturgis as we speak. North Carolina Vision Zero has been tracking fatal crash data from across the state for the past 10 years. They say the number of motorcycle vs car crashes is rising dramatically. Analysts say car and truck drivers are simply too distracted to be paying attention and staying aware. Apparently, most of them happen when a motorist pulls out in front of a motorcyclist. Again, the experts say the bike is smaller and the motorist usually says they were looking out for cars and trucks, not for bikers.
