Body of fourth tuber pulled from Dan River
The body of a fourth victim in a Dan River tubing accident last week was discovered Sunday morning. Seven-year-old Isiah Crawford’s body had been missing since last Wednesday. One additional victim remains unaccounted for and is presumed dead. Nine family members participated in the tubing excursion Wednesday evening. The tubers ran into trouble when they went over a dam near the Duke Energy Steam Station. Four survivors were rescued Thursday afternoon. The bodies of four of the remaining five tubers have been pulled from the river. Still unaccounted for is 35-year-old Teresa Villano of Eden.
