Burlington Pitches in $964,000 for Medical Office Park
Samet Corporation of Greensboro plans to construct five office buildings at the corner of Grand Oaks Boulevard and Huffman Mill Road as part of a new medical office park. The site is across the street from the Alamance Regional Medical Center. Last week the Burlington City Council agreed to reimburse Samet $964,000 for the road work and utility lines the construction company will install to service the new buildings. The Alamance News reports that the reimbursement is based on the pledge that the development will add no less than $25 million to the city’s tax base.
