Burlington Police Officer Honored for Work with Crime Stoppers
Burlington Police Officer Bobby Davis was named Crime Stoppers Coordinator of the Year Tuesday by the North Carolina Crime Stoppers Association. Davis, a 21-year veteran of the Burlington PD, has been leading the crime stopper efforts in Alamance County for about two years, taking on the role in addition to his duties as a community resource officer. The county’s crime stoppers’ program includes crimes being investigated by eight different law enforcement agencies in Alamance County. Davis helped modernize the program’s efforts, up-dating the crime stoppers website, adding a facebook page, and implementing the mobile P3-Tips app for anonymous reporting of tips. Congratulations to Bobby Davis.
