DOT Reports Increase In Car/Deer Collisons

Between now and the end of the year, car deer collisions really ramp up, and this shot of cold weather should really have them active. It is rutting season, with all the deer looking for love, and the cold snap will keep them moving to stay warm. In the past 3 years, animal-related crashes have killed five people in North Carolina, injured nearly 3 thousand, and caused nearly $160 million in property damage.
