Gibsonville Police Chief Re-Appointed to State Commission
Ron Parrish, chief of the Gibsonville Police Department, was recently re-appointed to the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission. The Commission helps ensure that law enforcement officers in our state have a consistent level of competency and professionalism. The Commission’s certification and training programs covers all sworn police officers, correctional officers, probation/parole officers, juvenile justice officers, and juvenile court counselors. Chief Parrish currently serves as the Chairman of the Commission’s Probable Cause Committee, which conducts hearings for officers accused of violating the Commission’s rules.
