Glen Raven Commits to Expansion in Norlina

According to an article in the Warren Record yesterday, Glen Raven Inc. has selected Warren County as the site for an expansion of its custom fabrics operations. The expansion will require an investment of $82 million and will create 205 new jobs in Norlina – a small town near the Virginia state line. Governor Roy Cooper praised the expansion, saying, “Companies that already do business in rural North Carolina know the advantages of communities like Warren County. Glen Raven’s experience here provides the confidence they need that our workforce, transportation systems and business climate will best support this next phase of growth for their company.” Glen Raven has been conducting business since 1880. The company’s corporate headquarters are in Alamance County.
