Graham Museum to Host Fire Safety, Fire History Event Saturday
The Graham Fire Department and the Graham Historical Museum have teamed up to offer a special fire safety event this Saturday, October 9. The event, which is for families with children, will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the museum, 135 West Elm Street in Graham. Participants will get to see how fire-fighting has changed over the past 100 years, as well as learn some valuable fire safety tips. Topics will include use of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms, creating a family escape plan, knowing when to call 911, and more.
