Harris Teeter Shortens Hours Because of COVID Surge
Effective Wednesday, Sept. 15, Harris Teeter will be closing its stores two hours earlier each day, closing at 9 p.m. instead of 11. The company indicated that the schedule change is a temporary move and is in response to the COVID-19 situation. The Harris Teeter website reported that the change will remain in effect until further notice. With the change, the store’s Fresh Foods’ Butcher’s and Fisherman’s Market Service Counters will close at 8 p.m., with the store closing at 9.
