Hawbridge School Kicks Off Expansion Project
The Hawbridge School in Saxapahaw conducted a beam-signing ceremony Tuesday as a way to launch its latest expansion project. The project involves the construction of a 40,000-square-foot classroom building. The new classroom building will serve students in grades eight through 12, while the school’s existing classroom building (located in a restored mill on the banks of the Haw River) will be dedicated to serving students in Kindergarten through 7th grade. The Hawbridge School is a tuition-free public charter school.
