More Townhomes to be Built in Gibsonville
The Gibsonville Board of Alderman approved changes earlier this week that open to the door for as many as 130 new townhomes to be built in the city. The approval of a rezoning request makes way for 30 new townhomes to be built on four acres along Cook Road. The board also approved to extend water and sewer along Highway 61, clearing the way for a construction project that could bring as many as 100 new townhomes to the city. Based on an agreement established this week, the City will have until March 31 to complete the extension of the water and sewer lines.
