NC Health Department Offers a $100 Incentive for Vaccine

In a move that was encouraged by President Joe Biden last week, the North Carolina Health Department will now give a $100 pre-paid Mastercard to anyone who gets his/her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Those who drive a person to their first vaccine appointment are eligible for a $25 pre-paid card. The incentive was announced yesterday and is good through the end of August. It is valid only for those age 18 and older, only at participating sites, and only while supplies last. While there are currently no participating Alamance County sites, there are 10 locations in Greensboro and one in Caswell County. For a complete list of participating sites, go to ncdhhs.gov
