Research Reveals Those with PhDs are Most Hesitant to Get Covid Vaccine
People with a PhD are the most hesitant when it comes to getting the Covid-19 vaccine. That’s according to researchers at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Researchers from the two universities surveyed more than five million American adults. The showed a U-shaped correlation between willingness to get a Covid vaccine and education level – with the highest hesitancy among those who are the least and the most educated. 23.9 percent of those with a PhD were reluctant to get the shot. 20.8 percent of those with only a high school education were hesitant. The least hesitant – those with a master’s degree. Only 8.3 percent of those with a master’s were against the vaccine.
