Three Men, including Two Teenagers, Arrested for Burlington Drive-By Shootings
The Burlington Police Department has arrested three people in connection to drive-by shootings that have plagued the area for the past five weeks. Through the course of these investigations, it has been determined that two groups have been responsible for these targeted incidents. Officers arrested 21-year-old Kevin Ramon Leathers of Burlington; 19-year-old Jarrod Raekwon Rone of Burlington; and 18-year-old Jamari Tysean Swift of Graham. Leathers was charged with resist, delay and obstruct and carrying a concealed weapon. Rone was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and carrying a concealed weapon. Swift was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
