Traffic Check Point Results in Arrest for Cocaine Possession

Forty-five-year-old Patrick Neil Davis was arrested Friday by the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office for possession of cocaine. Davis attempted to avoid a traffic check point set up at the intersection of Thompson Mill Road and Bass Mountain Road. Deputies followed him and conducted a traffic stop. A K-9 unit indicated that drugs may be in the vehicle and a search produced two baggies under the seat. Davis was charged with possession of cocaine and driving while license revoked. He was also served an outstanding order for arrest.
